90's music - down the memory lane

Since I'm one of the 90's baby, and I'm quite nostalgic for the eerie background music I used to hear.Here are some of my favorites.. Although I like pop music from the 00's, the contemporary R&B and urban music of the 90's was simply ardent & has a nice variety  to it with how kinky it tended to be.  



>  Losing My Religion -is a song by the American alternative rock band R.E.M. The song was relea sed as the first single from the group's 1991 album Out of Time.     







> Stay (I Missed You) - is a song and debut single by American singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb, which became her breakthrough song in 1994. It was included on the Reality Bites soundtrack, as well as her debut album, Tails.







> Ironic - is a song recorded by Canadian-American singer Alanis Morissette for her third studio album Jagged Little Pill (1995).

>Foolish Games - is a song by Jewel released as her third/fourth and final single, taken from her debut album Pieces of You. It was also the third single to be lifted from the Batman & Robin motion picture soundtrack.







>Torn - is a song by Natalie Imbruglia in 1997 (original version from Danish singer Lis Sørensen "Brænt"), was a cover of an Ednaswap song. Instantly the single became one of the biggest hits of the 90s, reaching number two in the UK Singles Chart in November 1997.






> Aida - is a song by Sarah Mclachlan in 1997 blasted off into the stratosphere as one of pop music's most enduring stars.The song Aida  is about a bunch of different things, but one of the main things the song is about is her relationship with her best friend. apparently, a while before sarah and her husband ash got together, he used to date her best friend. then, when they did get together, sarah and her best friend's relationship was very rocky for a few months because of the whole "dating your best friend's ex" situation.

> Runaway Train - is a song by the American rock band Soul Asylum released in 1993. The song led Soul Asylum to international status, and helped bring their album, Grave Dancers Union to a multi-platinum level.






> Bizarre Love Triangle - is a single released in 1986 by the English rock band New Order. But I like the one where Jewel made a cover of it.




> Ode to My Family - is a 1994 song recorded by the Irish band The Cranberries. It was the second single from their second studio album No Need to Argue. It was released in 1994.







> Creep - is a song by the English alternative rock band Radiohead. Radiohead released "Creep" as their debut single in 1992, and it later appeared on their first album, Pablo Honey (1993)
